Greetings for the NEW school year

Hello Wonderful People,

It’s been a lovely long break and here we are again at the beginning of a new school year.

My family and I got to have some lovely time together over on the Yorke Peninsula and I’ve continued teaching yoga at the school in Mt Barker. I hope your holiday was relaxed, fun and filled with laughter, too.

So, it’s now time to get down to some school time business, which includes scheduling in music lessons.

This year, I have been accepted into college to finally finish my full education degree. This means I will be ceasing yoga teaching, while still continuing to teach music during school times. The college schedule allows me to continue to teach on Fridays. Monday will be the other day I am able to teach.

Please let me know if you are planning to continue lessons for your child this year. I have the feeling session times will be filling quite quickly. I’ve already received calls/ messages requesting lessons for new students, so please let me know as soon as you can.

The best ways to contact me are:

  • texting 04 000 51 007 (let me know if you’d like me to call you to discuss something specific)
  • emailing

Enrollment forms are available from the school’s front office.

I am still deciding and devising when to begin lessons and the number of weeks we will run this term. This is an 11 week term. We normally have only 8 lessons per term to allow for:

  1. Catch up lessons times during the first and last week of term
  2. Reducing fees for parents
  3. Public Holidays (Mondays)
  4. Unusual college scheduling during  Testing and Orientation Weeks (next two weeks)

This begin said, a 9 week term may be more appropriate for this longer first term together.

If you are able to let me know if you are planning for your child to continue music, I will let you know asap as to when we’ll begin etc.

Thanks so much and I look forward to another exciting year of music together!

Many Thanks,

Cristy 🙂

PS If you have specific requests regarding an 8 or 9 week term for your child/ren, please let me know.
